Rarity and Sweetie Belle by DimFann Rarity and Sweetie Belle by DimFann
Sweetie Belle splashing around  in a puddle next to Rarity at around sunset.

Bet you can't guess my favorite lighting angle.

Testing a brush, and experimenting with scenery again.
Tried to use the wide shot from the intro as a frame of reference for the buildings and stuff.
I like drawing Rarity but coloring her man/hairdo/whatsitcalled always seems to take an eternity.

I rather like this picture. In particular, I think the tree looks fantastic. Thanks for drawing this picture.

I love that lighting here. The outline light on them is spot-on, and the diffuse light in the environment is lovely. That expression on Rare is great, too; such a mix of certain disgust with the dirt and yet amusement and joy from having fun with Sweetie. And also, dat tree. So mighty and awesome. Lovely work with the lighting on it and the colour strokes in general, the stroke-rich style looks so good on them. Even that rise from the roots to the Boutique is beautifully done. Good job indeed!
